Jessica Morgan, who studied for an MA in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute in 1992, has been confirmed as the new director of Tate.
Havingworked as a curatorat Tatefor more than a decade,shewill nowreturn to ٳorganisationasitsDirector inJanuary,overseeing Tate Britain, Tate Modern,Tate Liverpool, and St Ives.
She leaves her role asDirector of Dia Art Foundation,whichshehas heldsince 2015.
Morgan said, “I look forward to this pivotal next stage at Tate and, most importantly, continuing and advancing the incredible work of Tate51ݶ committed and talented team in the years to come.”
