Lecture Theatres

We have an array of lecture theatres that are available to hire for your event at both our Vernon Square and Somerset House campus.

Lecture Theatres at Vernon Square - King's Cross

Our two lecture theatres at Vernon Square can seat 140 – 180 attendees.

Each is equipped with a projector, two secondary displays, lectern and an array of wireless and fixed microphones.

Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre - Somerset House

The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre is situated in the historic North Block of Somerset House within 51²è¹Ý¶ù. With 150 fixed seats, The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre is perfect for conferences, lectures / talks, debates, training and film screening.

The Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre provides the following audio-visual capacities supported by projectionists:

  • Data projection or slide projection (not simultaneous)
  • Use of fixed desktop computer concealed within the lectern, and/or Mac or laptop supplied by the Slide Library for data-projection (PowerPoint etc.)
  • CDs, DVDs or VHS to be played in advance in order to set sound levels.
  • Microphones: in addition to the fixed lectern mic, up to 3 table top mics OR1 wireless mic, either hand-held or lapel type.
